The mail handling service from HMU is only eligible for hall residents of HKSYU.
Recipient’s Name on Mails/Parcels
In order to avoid misdelivery or non-delivery, residents should ensure senders to have the recipient’s full name written on the mail in either English or Chinese.
Daily Mail/Parcel Delivery
Mails will be delivered to the associate mailboxes. For large-sized mails, registered mails and parcels, HMU will send notification through Webmail to residents for taking them during office hours at HMU.
Return of Mails
HMU will return the mails or parcel to Post Office, if
1. their recipients cannot be recognized due to incomplete recipient’s name;
2. their recipients do not collect them within one month from the date of the notification email sent;
3. their recipients have been move-out.
Important Note When Move-out
Since moved-out residents are not eligible to use the mailboxes of the hall residence, residents bear the responsibilities to change the mailing address with the related parties/organizations before moving out or changing room.
